its not in the ob64/MotBQ style of gameplay and its not a new game but atleast they are finally doing something with the OB franchise. though sadly its gonna be for psp instead of ds

Now if they would just make a new OB game in the same style of motb/64 id be so happy!

Revival of the OB series is definitely a possibility now IMO. I think right now they are trying to test the popularity of the OB franchise. A remake with new features is a sensible move for SE since the required work for production isn't very high compared to making a whole new game. If this remake proves to be a hit, then they'll realize that OB still has potential and should have a go ahead for further production.

Although, I am sad about the lack of a DS port, but perhaps with time?

Now if only they can do another game in the syle of Ogre Battle 64.

yeah i also wish it was gonna be on NDS but i think ill still buy it and just borrow my friends psp. he doesnt use it much anyways.

Well there is always hope for a port. Like Nights In the Knightmare. (great game, by the way!)

It was originally on the NDS and just recently got announced a port for the PSP at E3

this would be my reason for getting a psp. i have let us cling together, but i was really into it before my traumatic brain injury. i tried to play it again, years later, but the disk is scratched and acts up. it will be great (hopefully) to play a non-lagified let us cling together.

personally i cannot wait, i am buying a new psp anyways since mine broke and this is absolutely perfect. Ill buy this, final fantasy tactics war of lions, and of course monster hunter freedom 3 when it finally hits NA.


If you have ever played FF tactics, or even Tactics Ogre, thats pretty much how this game is.

I am not in love with these kind of games but i do enjoy them, plus Ogre Battle is Awesome.

So I've gotten my hands on the remake of Tactics Ogre on PSP. Only started the game, but it seems very promising!

I can't wait to hear how if differs.

Never played the original. However, I did finish Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, on GBA.

Wow, this game is just awesome. Branching storylines, tons of depth in the class system, awesome combat system, an archer class that doesn't suck (unlike Final Fantasy Tactics). This is awesome!

I am glad the game turned out well! I hope sales and players reactions will send a positive message to Square.

Lets hope they keep remaking the them or release new ones!

I really hoped for something challenging, but this game is too much like FFT on the difficulty scale. Buff up your skills and slaughter everyone like babies, even the dark knight Lans.

i really need a psp again. Been chomping at the bit since i seen this was coming out.
